For the last project we had to describe a piece of ourselves that we haven't described yet. Since I liked the way we did the text project i decided to make another version. This time i used my whole name, and made clipping masks of all my favorite places, and things. The P has faeries and gnomes, which i love. The first E has a picture of a mountain that my family and I hiked in the Czech Republic. The A has a scene from mario kart my all-time favorite game while toad my favorite character. The C is a picture from the All Good Festival in Masontown, West Virginia, where many bands and people get together to have a great time. The H has a picture of a snowboarder. The second E is a picture of the streets of San Francisco, one of my favorite places. And the S has a scene from Yosemite National Park in California, one of the most beautiful national parks that i have been to. That's a little bit more about myself.

this is my childhood memories picture. my childhood was filled with fun, energetic times in nature where my mind was allowed to run free and wild. i absolutely love faeries and i was always encouraged to expand my mind. i feel like this picture represents all that.

this is my text project... i made the word pie with a 3 instead of the e since we had to use a number. then i used pictures of delicious foods to go inside the letters, since i'm always hungry and thinking about food. i used the images of brownies, cookies, and ice cream and i tried to put them into an interesting compostion

For the montage project, I created an image that combined four pictures to make an intense scene of field hockey. I absolutely LOVE to play field hockey. I cut out two of the images and shaded in some shadows. Then i flipped the image of field hockey sticks and flipped it around several times to create the top image and erased the bottom portion to blend it into the picture, then i used the smug tool to blend the top portion.

Poster Project

For this project we had to create a poster of images that described where we came from. I'm from just outside of Philadelphia from a town called Bryn Mawr. The image on the top left is of a forest near my house called "Skunk Hollow" where my friends and I spend a great deal of our time. The image on the bottom right is of a garden called "Chanticleer", and it is one of my favorite places to go and relax and have a great time, while enjoying the gorgeous landscapes. On the bottom left is a very popular place to eat called "Joe's", where they make the BEST sandwiches.
Every summer back when I was a kid, my family would travel to Poland, since that is where all my relatives are from, so that was a huge influence on me and how I perceive the world. The picture on the top right is of the capital of Poland, Warsaw. Also as a child, my parents were always busy, so to explore the world I would ride my bike everywhere. I made the phrase up to sort of help express the kind of person I am. I love being outdoors and exploring new places, and the best and only person i can be, is myself.

I choose this image because why should you take life so seriously? Everyone has a crazy little monkey in them trying to get out. I thought that it looked like a creative picture, where the monkey is surrounded by piles of peaches. The monkey seems to be in a jail cell and peaches is all that he gets. The only walls that hold you back are the ones that you put up for yourself.
I used photoshop to create this image, by going on the web and found images that I wanted to use. Then I cut some of them to make them look like they were further back in the picture. Then i cleared out the background colors of some of the images with the magic wand so that they look like they are apart of the new picture i'm making. I also used the eraser to erase one of the peaches so that you could see the monkey's foot to make it appear in the background.
